The popular resort area of St. Paul’s Bay, 10 miles from the capital of Valletta, is the perfect base to explore the fascinating archipelago of Malta. The 4*+ DB San Antonio Hotel & Spa is a home away from home. The 23m2 air-conditioned rooms each feature an en-suite bathroom, balcony, flat-screen TV, complimentary WiFi and tea/coffee-making facilities. Amenities include a fitness centre and the indulgent Pearl Spa. Finally, the dining choice is extraordinary.
Our all-inclusive arrangement is based on meals at the main Gueliz buffet restaurant (international cuisine), but Mr. Bridge guests may also dine at Tagine, which serves up delicious Indian and Moroccan dishes, D Bistro (pizza/pasta), Yushan (Asian) and the rooftop Q-Zins* (Maltese) and Taja* (Mediterranean) restaurants. Booking is required and a voucher will be issued.
With two included drinks parties, the group will soon get to know each other. Bridge, played in large air-conditioned rooms, fits around the excursions to maximise your enjoyment of the overall experience. Sandy will present two fascinating seminars, followed by supervised play of set hands, with valuable support offered by the Mr. Bridge team. Singles will always be accommodated.

Optional Excursions
Valletta and the Malta Experience - Half day £45 per person
Valletta is the island’s capital – a tiny walled city founded by the Knights of St John after the Great Siege of 1565, with many museums, historic buildings and Baroque churches, including St John’s Co-Cathedral, home to Caravaggio’s Beheading of John the Baptist. The ‘Malta Experience’ is a 45-minute audio-visual presentation of the islands’ 7,000-year history.
The ‘Silent City’ of Mdina - Half day £31 per person
The fortified city of Mdina was the capital of the islands until medieval times, and one of the best examples of a walled city in Europe. Known as the ‘Silent City’, it has recently doubled for King’s Landing in the landmark television series Game of Thrones.
Highlights of Gozo with lunch - Half day £71 per person
21 islands comprise the Maltese archipelago and Gozo is the second largest, after Malta itself. It is more rural than Malta, known for its Neolithic temples and other prehistoric remains. This full day excursion includes ferry transport and lunch.
