The 4*+ Hotel Caesius Thermae & Spa Resort is our Lake Garda hideaway. Rooms are air-conditioned with terrace or balcony and en-suite bathroom, satellite TV and tea/coffee-making facilities. At the spa, relaxing and revitalising treatments are centred around health-giving thermal waters. Our half-board arrangement is based on meals at the main Benacus restaurant, serving up delicious dishes inspired by regional traditions and the finest local produce.
With two included drinks parties, the group will soon get to know each other. Bridge, played in large air-conditioned rooms, fits around the excursions to maximise your enjoyment. Bernard Magee will present two seminars, followed by supervised play of set hands, with valuable support offered by the Mr Bridge team. Singles will always be accommodated.

Optional Excursions
Verona, City of Romeo and Juliet - Extended half day £65 per person
Verona needs little introduction – the city of Shakespeare’s ‘star-crossed lovers’ and two gentlemen; and the city of opera, where epic performances are staged in the 20,000-seat Roman Amphitheatre. Our extended half day excursion (lunch not included) includes a walking tour of Verona’s historic highlights and time at leisure to explore this splendid UNESCO World Heritage Centre independently.
Wine and Olive Oil Tasting - Half day £35 per person
Travel into the hills above Lake Garda, which are home to vineyards producing the famous Bardolino DOC wine. Here you will visit a family run estate where you will taste a selection of wines alongside canapés made from local produce and some extra virgin olive oil which is so fragrant and delicious that it can be tasted like wine.
Desenzano and Sirmione - Half day £52 per person
Visit two charming resort towns on the southern shore of Lake Garda. Desenzano has a rich artistic and archaeological heritage, with well-preserved Roman antiquities, grand Baroque palaces and an imposing medieval castle to admire. And postcard-perfect Sirmione, set spectacularly on a narrow peninsula and beloved by generations of writers, is famed for the healing properties of its thermal waters.

Offering 5 swimming pools, landscaped gardens and an extra-large Ayurveda and thermal spa, Hotel Caesius Thermae is set on the shore of Lake Garda. It provides free Wi-Fi.
Rooms here are spacious and comfortable with carpeted floors and air conditioning. All feature a minibar and tea and coffee-making facilities, as well as a bathrobe and slippers. Some have a balcony.
Hotel Caesius Thermae & Spa Resort is renowned for its wellness facilities, which include a gym, saunas, Turkish baths and a tea room. It stands out for its alternative Ayurveda treatments.
The varied buffet breakfast includes local specialities, homemade cakes and a selection of organic and gluten-free food. Our half board arrangement is based on meals at the Benacus restaurant, serving up delicious dishes inspired by regional traditions and the finest local produce.
Bardolino centre is a 20-minute walk away along the lakeside. Bikes are available to rent from reception.
