Your host will present Bridge seminars followed by the opportunity to play set hands with the assistance of an experienced team. A range of different bridge sessions will be played in large, air-conditioned rooms. The atmosphere is always very friendly and single players will always be accommodated.
One of Britain’s foremost bridge tutors, Bernard Magee has been leading bridge holidays for over 10 years. His enthusiasm for the game and his patience in tutoring place him in the highest echelon of bridge personalities. Bernard is the author of seven pieces of interactive software, a number of bridge books and seven series of instructive bridge DVDs. He is the bridge consultant for the Mr Bridge organisation, writing regularly within all of their publications, and also writes regular articles for most of the country’s bridge magazines.
Formerly a manager with the De Beers diamond group and a magistrate, Sandy Bell has played social bridge for 25 years. In 1995, she decided to set up a bridge club at her local yacht club in Port Solent. Single people in particular were encouraged to join. Sandy is a member of EBUTA and has thoroughly enjoyed teaching improvers’ bridge for the last two years. Her husband Graham, a retired naval officer, has played bridge for 40 years and assists Sandy with her Mr Bridge activities.
